Testimonials

I have been working with Celia for just over 4 months in boot camp and have experienced tremendous results. Celia is energetic, creative, knowledgeable, and provides a safe and
fun workout experience. She truly takes her clients interests, needs and abilities into account when designing her workouts - whether it's a class with a variety of fitness levels or a one on one experience. I highly recommend Celia. She will keep you motivated and in shape!"

Although I dislike exercise, I have found Celia to be very inspiring! I wasn't sure I could keep up the boot camp after the first night but with Celia's encouragement I kept coming back. I have enjoyed her insight and motivation. I will keep working out with Celia until I head back up north for the summer and boot camp will be the first activity I start once I return to
Florida in the fall. If Celia can keep me interested, she can do it for anyone. I highly recommend her. Celia, what will I do without you this summer!

I HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE MARCO ISLAND BOOT CAMP FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS. IN THE
BEGINNING, I WAS ACTUALLY PATHETIC. WITH COMPLETE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT FROM
CELIA, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE REALLY ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING. CELIA DESIGNED WORKOUT
PROGRAMS WHICH COULD BE ADAPTED TO ANY TYPE OF PARTICIPANT IN THE PROGRAM. HER
KNOWLEDGE, MOTIVATION, SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT MADE BOOT CAMP A REAL
ADVENTURE. I WILL DEFINITELY CONTINUE IN BOOT CAMP."

Trouble falling asleep

Hate taking pills but need to get your rest?  Here is a tip given to me by a friend.  When lying in bed with a busy mind, start counting backward by 3's starting from 200.

It requires just enough thought that you can't think of anything else and so boring you will drift off to sleep before you hit 180.

Even Personal Trainers Need Personal Trainers

I am sure it is the same as in your profession.  You are good at what you do and you do it great for everyone else, but when it comes to yourself, you are always playing second position to a client, or a customer or your employer.
Well it is same for personal trainers, this one in particular.  I love sharing fitness information and helping my clients get the very best out of the time they have to devote to fitness, that I do not always take the time to work on my own fitness.

Well today, I am becoming my best client.  I have scheduled one hour each and every day from 5:30 - 6:30 on my calendar, just for ME!

How about you? What will you do foryourself?

It will make us better at what we do, because our needs will not be haunting us.

What is your take on this?  Do you pay enough attention to yourself?
