Although I dislike exercise, I have found Celia to be very inspiring! I wasn't sure I could keep up the boot camp after the first night but with Celia's encouragement I kept coming back. I have enjoyed her insight and motivation. I will keep working out with Celia until I head back up north for the summer and boot camp will be the first activity I start once I return to

Drug Free Pain Free

A recent article by Mary Brophy Marcus in the USA Your Life Magazine; discusses acupuncture relieving pain of fibromyalgia. Mind and body exercies; yoga, tai chi and stretching to reduce pain; David McKalip, a brain and spine neurosurgeon in St. Petersburg, Fla., says he's incorporated tai chi into his medical practice. "Not only does tai chi help strenthen spinal muscles, which eases pressure on the back, it also improves balance, which can prevent accidents. It has both therapeutic and preventative benefit," says McKalip. (Direct quote from article, credited to Mary Brophy Marcus, USA Today). The arttcle goes on to say yogo can be effective easing emotional pain; depression, anxiety or fatigue.

How can we incorporate this information into the lives of those around us and use one less pain reliever and allow our body to do what it naturally does; heal itself.
